Speed work on a live clinic website: mobile Lighthouse 47 → 70
A clinic’s live WordPress site was slow on phones. I audited it and fixed what blocked the page, including cleaning up the tag-manager setup. On a key service page the mobile Lighthouse score went from 47 to 70 and Total Blocking Time from 1,370 ms to 290 ms.

Context and problem
The clinic’s site worked, but its pages were slow on phones, where most patients visit.
My role
Solo: audit, fixes and verification. I did not rebuild the site.
What I did
- Audited the pages with Lighthouse to find what blocked loading.
- Cleaned up the Google Tag Manager setup.
- Applied performance fixes and measured again.
